BPE Celebrates New School, New Direction

This evening BPE will convene community members at Hibernian Hall to celebrate great teaching and unite around a common vision of student success. For 27 years, BPE (formerly, the Boston Plan for Excellence) has been a leader in teacher development and instructional improvement in Boston’s schools.At the event, BPE will unveil plans to pursue three strategies: 1) Prepare and support diverse, highly effective teachers for Boston’s schools through a best-in-class teacher preparation and development program; 2) Ensure broad student success in partner schools by cultivating ambitious instruction in every classroom with a coherent, data-driven approach to school improvement; and 3) Create break-the-mold new schools that ensure all students are prepared to succeed in college and career.
