When we launched the school in 2012, just 29% of students entered reading on grade level. At the end of the 2020-21 school year:
- 57% of students were reading on or above grade level at the end of year.
- 70% of students were making one year or more of growth on the Pioneer Valley Reading assessments (substitute for F&P during the pandemic year, since it could be implemented online).
- School attendance was 94%, which is among the highest of all BPS schools
- 284 students applied for 95 seats for the upcoming school year
Additionally, many of our 4th and 5th graders are accepted into Advanced Work programs within Boston Public Schools.
