The global career landscape is changing, and we as educators need your input to design school in a way that prepares students to be successful in your workplace.

Dearborn STEM Academy, an open enrollment Boston Public School, is a middle and high school equipping Boston’s students with the skills, access and agency to take their place in our city’s high-tech economy. As we prepare to move into a brand new building designed for STEM education, we have a great opportunity ahead of us. Fully utilizing our innovative learning spaces and industry partnerships, we can serve as a demonstration site for the entire district. In order to do so, we need regular input from industry partners to develop the curriculum and programming that will put students on a path to career success.

Please join BPE and the BPS Office of External Affairs for an ideation session in which we’ll ask:

  • How can we reimagine middle and high school to prepare students for jobs that might not even exist yet?
  • What are the courses, work-based learning experiences and career pathways that students need to be successful in your industry?

Led by Augusta Meill, CEO of AGNCY, you’ll help us imagine ways organizations like yours can develop these skills in students.

With a welcome from
Rahn Dorsey, City of Boston Chief of Education
